Position You To Win!

We've all heard about business branding and how important it is but what value do we place on personal branding? And what do we really know about it? Personal branding relates to the way your market yourself to the outside world and portrays what you stand for in conjunction with your value proposition. Businesses spend millions of dollars annually on marketing campaigns that are designed to enhance public perception.  Glossy flyers, flashy websites, cool advertisements and catchy gimmicks are just some examples. What about investing in the public perception of you?  After all, it is you that your clients do business with.  If you are interested in reading more about personal branding, check out the full article on our media page.

First Half Highlights!

What an exciting (and speedy) first half of 2010 we've had. In April, we had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week presenting at the Synchron Conference in Queenstown, New Zealand.  Once again, the conference was a huge success and the attendees were provided with a multitude of learning experiences combined with the usual Sychron 'madness.'  Professional development was interspersed with jet boat rides (which I did), bungy jumping (which I didn't!) and the opportunity to taste some gorgeous Pinots that New Zealand is famous for (which, of course, I did).  If that wasn't action-packed enough, the month of May was spent presenting nationally for Zurich Insurance as part of their exclusive broker program.

Are You Building The Love?

Often we're so intent on getting that sale that we have a transactional view of our customers, rather than taking the time to build any love.  We use them (to increase our profits), abuse them (by providing poor service) and then treat them like a one-night stand - attentive today, neglectful tomorrow!  Imagine if you could get your existing clients to tell others about how wonderful your business is - it would certainly save on all of those advertising costs. If you're interested to know more about how your team can dump that love 'em and leave 'em attitude, check out the full article on our 'media' page or contact us to find out more about this new program.

Views On The Way To The Top
Views On The Way To The Top is an inspirational book co-authored by Nikki Heald and other successful women in business.  Officially launched in early 2007, the book is a compilation of  stories about success; what it means to the authors and what they have endured to get there.  From women who have overcome many obstacles to those who have built their success on pure grit and determination, the book is a personal look into what is is like for women in business today.  Copies of the book can be purchased at presentations nationally or by contacting Corptraining.
